This is an entry for Micro Jam #44.

Controls:

  • Mouse movement to fly
  • LMB = Fire lasers
  • RMB = Countermeasures

Point of the game:

  • Kill the enemy spacecraft with your lasers. Shooting them in the back does more damage.
  • Avoid being shot by their missiles. If a missile hits you near the center of the cockpit view where the center reticle system is, then you will take 1 damage.
  • If you are locked, then someone is behind you (see the radar). You must break the lock soon or else he will fire a locked missile.
  • If you are launched upon by a locked missile, your only hope is to use countermeasures before it hits you. Immediately press RMB.

Radar:

  • Triangles are enemy ships.
  • Red means they are in your view or above you.
  • Blue means they are below you.
  • If the triangles are above the radar line, they are in front of you.
  • If the triangles are below the radar line, they are behind you.

Very cool game — quite different from most game jam games!  It was a little difficult to control.  Also a 3D-ish "holotank" type radar display might be easier to understand than the square red/blue radar.  But I understand it was a game jam, and you only had so much time!  I hope you'll keep developing this; it's a really cool concept.
